EOS LIP BALM

Hey guys, Looking for a lip moisturizer ?

Let me introduce you to EOS lip balm , Its one of the finest lipbalm i ever met. And i really love it! 

it will just be a quick review since We will not discuss  the ingredients part. I will just put in here my judgement regarding the product.  

EOS is made in LCC newyork a product of usa. This is 100 % natural and 95 % organic. 

As you can see in the pic i have 6 types of eos in different flavors, they are still unsealed. Ive heard from somewhere that i cant remember , the balm is just off white in color, No matter what flavor it is. 

What i like about the balm, is its packaging. they place it in a round egg like container. 

Here's the ingredients if you wanted to know:  

-Fruit oil/ beeswax/ coconut oil/ jojoba seed oil/ aroma/ she butter/ sunflower seed oil/ flower extract and more.    

Verdicts:

the balm really moisturize my lips ,Since lipstick contains some formula that may dry your lips and leaves you a crack skin. It did not darken my lips maybe beacause its organic and natural.  

I apply this before putiing my lipstick. 

Price: it cost 230 php , each. You can purcase it in rob forum dept store. beware of fakes they are out in the market already.

SNAIL SOAP

Snail Snail Snail soap.. Wazzup to all of my chic viewer ?  

Lets review about one of the raving soap from thailand. Snail soap. 

A snail turn into soap? errr. lol, so its one of the soap that i bought online for a review. the last soap that i made a review is tofu soap by nuch which is really effective on me you can read it here http://thechicroom.blogspot.com/2015/03/all-about-soaps.html ..  I find it weird for thailander to invent a soap in unusual ingredient such as tofu, and ofcourse this one snail extract.  but on the other hand it really amaze me on how they turn all of this ingredients into a wonderful soap.They also sell vampire soap, oh m-g! i am really wondering where the ingredients came from. 


I've red some review that snail soap are good for acne and it really smoothen skin. Even my friend use this one to treat the acne on her face. She was really fond of it, and she love the result after using it. 



So lets give a space for snail soap.. 


here are the ingredients of a snail soap

many ingredients have been added to the soap such as Cocos Nucifera oil, Sesamum Indicum seed oil, Aloe Barbadensis leaf juice, Glycerin, Arbutin, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Tocopherol, Retinol, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance.


Cocos nucifera is the scientific name for coconut oil, which makes our skin moisturize.


Sesamum indicum is the scientifc name for sesame oil. WTF! why are they using laymans term here. it has vitamin A, B and E which are essential in all skin products.


Aloe Barbadensis leaf juice or Aloe vera can soothe skin and serve as an anti-inflammatory. It can be efficiently used topically, because of its burn healing effects, scar reducing and wounds healing properties.Aloe protects the skin from UV damage. The herb contains aloin, which can block up to 30 percent of the ultraviolet rays when applied to the skin’s surface.



glycerin is content which makes a solute , solvent. You can find it in every soap


Arbutin came from berries such as bearberry.

Bearberry extract is used in skin lightening treatments designed for long term and regular use. An active agent in brands of skin lightening preparations, it is more expensive than traditional skin lightening ingredients like hydroquinone, which is now banned in many countries.

snail Secretion Filtrate or “Snail gel began with the ancient Greeks and was later rediscovered by Chilean farmers who noticed their hands were softer after touching snail secretion, Actually it staeted in korea not in thailand. 

Tocopherol is a vitamin E which is good for the skin as it repairs damge skin cells  


Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH), also known as lye, is an essential ingredient in the soap making process. When sodium hydroxide beads or flakes are mixed with a liquid,  a lye solution is created.



Retinol repairs and moisturize the skin

fragrance its for the scent of the soap  



So if u will think of it most of the ingredient are for Skin repair. Thats why it is highly recommended for woman who are prone in acne.  

Usage:


I use this twice a day, it doesn't easily dissolve, Its smell is somehow similar with tofu soap something like vanilla. It lasted on me for 1 week since i used it in my whole body.  


Price: I bought this online , it cost 75 pesos. plus the handling fee of 70

Verdicts:

Since i am not prone into acne , i didn't appreciate it that much. It darkerns my skin, even though im not getting exposed sunlight. My co-workmate notice that my skin gets darker, i also dont know why. What i just notice is the dryness on my arm, and a lttle micropeeling. but nothing more. The acne on my back did not lessen , but the acne on my chest lessen a few. A piple also appears near on my chin, i dont know if its because im having my menstruation. It really dries my skin even though most of its content is for moisturization.  

Will i buy again? 

Nooo!!!









Will i suggest it?


Its not for whitening but to those who are acne-prone you may use it, it might have a different effect on you.

Mosbeau Placenta White Advance supplement is 100 % made in japan. And as i was saying in my last post, Japan has a good quality when it comes to beauty products. Verdicts:

The tablet can be easily swallow as it is in small form. For me , it has a little taste of sweet. My family who  were in cavite were the one who notice it since i already  move in here in manila when i graduated. I went their for a visit and they keep on asking why my skin lighten. The effect on me is like pinkish glow. I really love this whitening supplement , I just stopped using it because its too expensive. 



Cons? 

The taking part will be hard ,since you have to take 4 tablets a day. And of course it is really expensive, but its worth the price you just have to be patient since i consumed 2 bottles before the whitening already take effect.

So here we go, our topic for this page is "SNOW WHITE GLUTATHIONE CAPSULE" most of you may not be familiar with it, because it just recently out in the market. And its commercial on tv, just aired last 2014.  


I made a review regarding this gluta since there is a minimal review about this on the internet. And i'm happy to share mine with you guys. I decided to take this one , because it is included  on my list of new years resolution. To have a brighter skin. (what kind of a new year resolution is that?!LOL IDC) 


i red a blog regarding this , with one of my favorite blogger. Don't want to mention names but its starting with letter "K" . I trust this blogger so much, and she's one of my inspiration on writing my own blog. According to her review, its one of her favorite glutathione. and it gave her a good effect, So the i must gave it a try, Since i am a blogger, i have to be brave on trying every products in the market without hesitation.


Snow Caps contains Premium 500mg of L-Glutathione, also known as the miracle enzyme, to help whiten our skin. SnowCaps allows us to ingest the proper amount of L-Glutathione (reduced) with 100mg Alpha Lipoic Acid and 100mg Non-Acidic Vitamin C.



Yes! Non Acidic, it will be better to take non-Acidic Vitamin C if you have hyperacidity issue.


Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that's in many foods, and it's made naturally in our bodies. According to some research it has a good benefit in skin.So, As long as you're healthy the body can produce all the ALA.

ALA is an antioxidant,  Antioxidants which protects against damage to the body's cells. mind you guys our skin compose of thousands of cells that why need an antioxidant in our bodies.    


So for this case they include 100mg ALA to protect our cells against damage. some research says that it is an anti-aging agent. I agree with it since its protecting the cells. 

while L-glutathione or  Liposomal Glutathione or Acetyl Glutathione They are  above forms of GSH are the most bioavailable, meaning they effectively boost glutathione levels.

where did i bought it?

I purchase mine at mercury drug. you may also try to check it on Watson since they have this product.It came with a free snow white soap.(will do another review with the soap) I dont know if the soap is just a freebie or it includes in my item. Maybe, they used to combo it with the glutathione for better result.(Marketing)   


I really like how they labeled the box. Its in a white box  that has a design of snow flakes. It looks warm in the eyes. the box has a label of " No Therapeutic claims"  They also have a money back guarantee which means that they trust their brand so much. So if you are the buyer, you will not feel any hesitation to avail one. 

When you open the box there is an instruction paper for proper usage and intake. It also have a brief information regarding the glutathione.

they place the capsule in a pack.
 Each pack contains of 10 capsules, Unlike any other glutathiones they are all mix up in a small container. 


Dosage And Intake:  

I take it twice a day with 1000mg vitamin c  , that i bought in watson drugstore. i take it one in the morning and one at night. I make sure that i take it on time. So the glutathione levels on my body will not go down. They Advised to take it atleast once a day with or without meal.


Price: 
I bought it for 1475php including the soap because its already included in there. Each box contains 30 capsule which is according to them good for 1 month. but since my goal  is for whitening. I took it twice. 
Because a 500 mg a day for whitening purposes will not be enough. 




Effects :
Every effects will vary on the skin types and  on how the persons body function. So i took it for almost 2 weeks, I didnt notice any other changes on my skin in the first week. then i still go on to finish the capsules, I just notice whenever im riding a jeepney and being expose a little to mr. sunlight, my skin glows that it looks 1 shades lighter than i am.But whenever im indoors it still looks the same old skin. After 2 weeks there should be a little changes on me but i haven't notica a lot.I dont want to stay on sunlight forever just to look fair. thats unfair! LOL .. I also want to look light whenever im indoors. Although, they promised that it will be 6 weeks after you notice the changes. But that was too long for waiting.. so you have to consume 1 box and half first to saw the changes. As i said, it depends on the person who take it. Mine is not effective. 

Two picture doesn't have filters, its not taken on the same day. So as you can see it doesn't have much difference.  






Will i suggest it?

No, because its too expensive. there are lots of glutathiones in the market that can serve you and your wallet justice.

Let me share my experience with you regarding one of the popular soap that is being used here in the philippines.  

Even men used this soap. There was this time that my boyfie, suffered from chikenfox then it leaves some marks on his skin that ruins his white skin.  He asked me to buy him one since im also using this soap that time.

Well i can say it works on him but not that much, it just lighten his scars a little. 

Base on the product Description — Kojic Acid was discovered in Japan. It is a product in the production of Koji or Malted Rice, for use in the manufacture of Japanese rice wine. In cosmetics, Kojic acid is popularly known for its excellent whitening effects and antioxidant properties.

Kojie San has an all-natural kojic acid formula that helps lighten dark spots due to acne, age spots, freckles, sun-damaged skin and other skin pigmentations.

So  i can say it really focus on whitening dark spot. 

Kojie San Ingredients: Pure Kojic Acid, Sweet Orange, VCO, Glycerine, Vegetable Extracts, Vitamin C.  

Lets talk about the ingredients of the soap: 

Kojic acid is derived from a variety of fungi and organic substances and is present in skin-whitening creams used to diminish dark areas resulting from excessive pigmentation in the skin. You can buy raw kojic acid but this substance may cause damage to your skin unless it is diluted in a cream or gel, that why they invented kojic soaps.. Kojic acid may help diminish or eliminate sun freckles, melasma or other pigmentation when used correctly.  

Sweet orange are included for the better absorption of all the whitening agent that they included, Since it ir sich in vitamin C. And it also serves as the scent of the soap.  

VCO or Virgin coconut oil, were included for the moisturization of the skin. Because Kojic Acid may dry your skin for a prolong used.  

Glycerin is a neutral, sweet-tasting, colorless, thick liquid which freezes to a gummy paste and which has a high boiling point. Glycerin can be dissolved into water or alcohol, but not oils. On the other hand, many things will dissolve into glycerin easier than they do into water or alcohol. So it is a good solvent.

You may find glycerin in many soaps as it serve as the solvent of all the ingredients. 

Vegetable Extracts are also included in the soap , actually im not sure if what kinds of vegetables they put in on the soap. We all know that vegetable are good in the body. What more if we will apply it on the skin.  

Ofcourse, Yow Vitamin C, As i said a while ago, It is for the better absorption of their Whitening agents.  

Price:

Ive used this soap for almost 1 year, and I really love the soap because it really suits on my budget that time. ( im just a fresh grduate when i used it) It only cost 50 php for the small bar, 75 for three small bars and 150-up for big packages.  

You can buy this at mercury drug, watsons even on supermarket.  

Effects:  

I may say that this soap really works on me in my first 5 onths of use. I am really fascinated with its scent. It smells like a real orange. Although i dont like orange fruit. My skin turns into 2 shades lighter. I felt a stinging sensation in my first 2 weeks of use. Since it is a cold process soap, it easliy dissolve. So make sure to place it in a dry container. I suggest it will be better if you will cut it according to your want. I cut mine into three ( im using the small one)  

I also experience some dryness that turns into micro-peeling. I dont have any acne on my face they all move in at my chest and at my back. (LOL) they love to stay there, they are those what you called shy type.  

This soaps did not help on removing those acne, but instead it worsen as i used it. Maybe because that part of my skin were sensitive and this soaps has a strong agent that iritates them.  

That is one of the reason i stopped using it, and as i continued on using it, my skin gets really dry. that my moisturizing cream is not enough to cover it. Maybe its because of the kojic acid which is the main ingerdients in the soap. 

I would have love it if only it didnt dry my skin that much, I look dull and old because of the prolong use of the soap. 

I suggest dont use it too long as it will really dry your skin. Remember that we need mositure in our skin to stay young. The dryness can make your skin looks dark.

Will i use it again? 

No.

Thats a wow! those three are my favorite ingredients when it comes to skin whitening. Sofia is a homemade soap from a small local business shop. I didnt hesitate to try this one , since ive red a good review from my favorite blogger. Ms. "Kikay" 


Here are the ingredients of the soap:


-Mineral Oil 

-Vegetable oil

-Vitamin C

-vitamin E

-Active Whitening 

-Glutathione

-Kojic Acid 

-Glycerin 

-Collagen 



Lets discuss One by one the benefits of each ingredients.  


Mineral oil 

 is used as a moisturizer to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations, They put this to avoid dryness,  since whitening soap can really dries your skin.  


Vegetable oil 


I hope they indicates if what kind of vegetable oil they put in (are we on guessing game here  , LOL )  



Vitamin C


it is included in most of whitening soaps in the market , as it helps to boost the whitening effect of the soap.  

Vitamin E

We all know that vitamin e is good for the skin, as it also repairs skin cell, that binds the skin to its youthful glow.  

Active Whitening 

I dont have any idea on this ingredient. how i wish the info is also actively written at the back of the bar. 


Glutathione 

ofcourse it is an anti-oxidant that has lots of benefits when it comes to health and whitening. 


Kojic Acid
 is a form of Malted rice that is effective on whitening  


Glycerin 

is a substance that is being deluted into water or any forms of water except oil to make it solvent. 


Collagen  

it a protein that can be found in the body such as bone , muscle and ofcourse the skin. Around 30% of all the proteins in the human body are collagen.Collagen gives the skin its strength and elasticity, and is also responsible for the replacement of dead skin cells. It can also be found in animals and trees. (I wonder if they are getting it from humans err)  




It really amaze me, that the content of their products is all natural. They even combine all of the good ingredients in a soap. 




About the packaging:


I really love how they wrapped their packaging, it was cover in a idk if what kind of paper was that. Then they sealed it using their logo, Once you open it the soap is pack in its plastic tied with a blue ribbon. Thats what you called perfect! 

It feels like i receive a gift from someone  

Verdicts: 


I used this soap for (imagine!) 2 weeks! I  cut the soap into 5. The soap doesnt dissolve easily, even though its a cold process. I love how it moisturize my skin. It smells like a vanilla and honey. sometimes, i forgot to put my lotion on whenever im running late for work. But still, i didnt feel or experience any dryness. Actually i didnt notice the whitening effect. And apology for my readers again, I havent captured a before and after photo on one part of my body to justify its effect but i will attached a photo of me before and after i use it . Because i am not yet a blogger that time. And i cant use it again by now since im reviewing another soap. But if i will have a permanent soap that i wanted to use, that will be sofia SVR . As i was saying, i didnt notice the whitening effect , my friends did, I just came from a mountain hiking before using this soap .And as i was using it my friends notice that my skin easily gets back into its normal shade. So for that case , this soaps really helps. What more if my skin is not that much darker.

THAILAND TOFU SOAP

Hello to those chic up there .. Im so excited to share my another set of review regarding whitening!

 so,Lets talk about thailand soap., There are lots of raving reviews and comments regarding this soap, specially on ig. If you can observe on some movies from thailand, they really have a smooth youthful glow. So This is what makes me decide if it was because of the soap or their genes. Because i believe there is just a minimal difference between a thailander and a filipino , when it comes to physical features. 

So i got curious , if it really works. So i decided to try it on myself. i bought mine online from 

olx. I dont know if its authentic or not, since i havent heard about fakes yet. Each soap cost 75php each plus the handling fee of 70php. Ive heard that if you will buy it in the mall where you can 

find a stall selling thailand soap,it will cost you 100 each.  

I bought different types of thailand soap , for my review. 

So heres the first soap , that i gave  a try. 

THAILAND TOFU SOAP 

Skin whitening by nuch 

this tofu soap made me excited,  since ive heard a lot of good 

reviews about it @ femalenetwork. A site for female beauty chatters.  

According to my Research this soap is safe to used by everyone.even on baby skin. And this is also FDA approved. Its content is made from 100% tofu, and its raw materials where made from japan. We all know japan has one of the best quality when it comes to beauty products. 

This tofu soap is ( according again on my research)

-No mineral oil

-Non drying

-Non-irritant

-Dries your pimples

-Whitens your skin

-No coloring

-Any skin types use this soap

-Lightening your dark spots 

-Reforming new skin

-tightening your skin and pores

-Can use for face and body

If you will take a look in the box, they have a good labeling , although i dont understand their alphabetics. What i like about thailand soap they looks alluring in the eyes.  they really paid attention on its cover. And i love it!

They used animated characters for instruction of using the soap. The downside of the box, you will never understand the message written unless you were able to understand their languange. that isWTF for me!

The box also has an expiry date for your protection. 

Anyways, sorry if i haven't captured the actual soap in my palm. because i was too excited to use it that i forgot to take a pic.  

But i attached a pic of the soap, And i credit it to the owner. The soap is like a round cake dough 

that fits in your palm. Or if you are familiar with (hopia) that is exactly how big it is.  The soap is pack in plastic unlike other soap, they just put it directly inside the box.  

I make sure that after each shower i put the soap on its plastic , then in a dry container for longer 

consumption.

When i first use it, the smell of a litlle vanilla went trough my skin 

then when i scrubbed it all over my body the sweet smell disappered i dont knowif its because i already adapted the scent, Im very particular with the smell of a soap, as it leaves fragrance in the 

body.  

The first day i use it , i didnt notice anything. it feels like im using a regular soap, even the stinging sensation didnt occur or the tightness feeling. but on my second day, i felt a little dryness as well  as on my third day. I notice some snow flakes parts specially if you will scratch it with your nails. lol, i dont if how will i described it. and also on my third Day, i experienced a little sting on my face then a micropeeling on my arms. It was really a perfect timing since i just went on a mountain hiking ,then we also went swimming under the sun. The soap will really justify its words.   

the soap just lasted for 5 days on me, I really did what i can do to make it last even just for a week.  I just got one or two shades lighter from the day i took the first photo. And that will be 5 days from now. I suggest it will be better if you will just use it on your face but if you have the budget you can use it in face and body.  

Verdicts:

I can really say that the soap really work when it comes on whitening as it reforms new skin by peeling. but the tightening of pores ? , im not sure since i am blessed to have closed pores skin , 

specially on my face. 

Will i reommend it?

Yes, maybe 1 bar is not enough , a 2 or 3 will give a better results.  

Will i buy another one?

Yes.. i want to use it on my face. 

Cons?

Its to expensive, for just 5 days of use.
